TV & E-Waste Removal Riverside & the IE

TV Removal in the Inland Empire

Televisions, computers, monitors and stereos are all on the City of Riverside’s do-not-collect list for bulky pickup. So the old flat screen from the bedroom and the tower from the home office tend to sit in a corner of the garage. We take them and route them to e-waste recycling: a 42–65 inch TV is $68, a monitor $58.

E-Waste Rules Around the IE

City of Riverside

Excludes TVs, computers, monitors, cell phones and stereos from bulky collection — they have to go to an e-waste recycler or household hazardous waste site.

Corona

Allows up to five e-waste items alongside the six bulk items on each of its three yearly collections.

Moreno Valley & Ontario

Both take e-waste curbside through their programs — Moreno Valley monthly, Ontario on its four annual appointments.

County Landfills

Riverside County’s landfills accept a couple of old CRT sets per resident per day, if you’re driving them yourself.

Under 42 inches is $62, 42 to 65 inches $68, and 65 inches or larger $73, each carried out and recycled.

Can I leave a TV out for Riverside’s bulky pickup?

No. The City lists televisions, computers and monitors among the items it won’t collect.

Will you take down a wall-mounted TV?
