The short answer

JunkRabbit prices every common item flat, or prices big loads by how much of the truck they fill. A standard sofa is $126, a queen mattress $103, a standard refrigerator $164, a washer $133. A quarter truck is $241, a half truck $431 and a full truck $732. The order minimum is $100. There is no stairs fee, no same-day surcharge and no sales tax on the service here.

How to read this list

There are two ways a job gets priced, and the quote picks whichever fits. If you are getting rid of a handful of identifiable things, such as a sofa, a dresser and a fridge, each one has its own flat price and the total is the sum. If you are clearing a space, such as a garage, a shed or a whole apartment, the job is priced by how much of the truck it fills, because counting every box and bag would be pointless. A useful rule: once an item list starts adding up to more than about $241, check whether the same stuff would fit in a quarter truck, and once it passes about $431, check the half-truck tier. Upload photos and the quote does that comparison for you. Either way, the price is shown before you book and only changes if you approve, for example when you add an item on the day. The same prices apply in every part of the service area, from Chino Hills and Upland to Moreno Valley, Menifee and Temecula.

Truck-fill tiers for piles and cleanouts

LoadFlat price
1/4 truck (~4 cubic yards)$241
3/8 truck (~6 cubic yards)$338
1/2 truck (~8 cubic yards)$431
5/8 truck (~10 cubic yards)$513
3/4 truck (~12 cubic yards)$587
7/8 truck (~14 cubic yards)$661
Full truck (~16 cubic yards)$732

Use these for garages, sheds, side yards and whole-room cleanouts where counting items would be silly. For scale: a full truck is about 432 cubic feet, roughly a 10-by-10 patch of garage floor stacked a little over four feet high. A corner pile in an Orangecrest garage is often a quarter truck; a long-held Arlington ranch garage can take one full truck or more. Jobs bigger than one truck add tiers together: a full truck and a half is $732 + $431 = $1,163.

Dining Table (6-8 Seat)$163
Sectional Sofa (3-Piece)$185
Armoire — Large / Double (Solid Wood)$197

Solid wood and oversized pieces are priced separately from flat-pack, which is why a large hardwood dresser and a standard dresser are different lines. If you are not sure which one you have, a photo settles it.

No wrapping is needed. The City of Riverside's bulky pickup requires mattresses to be fully wrapped or bagged; a carried-out pickup does not.

Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and TVs are all excluded from the City of Riverside's bulky pickup, so these lines are the ones most Riverside households end up using.

Debris, bags and remodel leftovers

Construction Debris$120
10 Bags of Debris$132
20 Bags of Debris$259
Concrete / Masonry Debris (per 1/4 truck)$219
Full Kitchen Cabinet Set (rip-out)$293

The City's bulky program refuses construction debris such as wood, drywall, tile and concrete, so remodel leftovers are a common reason to book. A bathroom refresh in a 1970s Riverside ranch, with a vanity, two bundles of drywall and ten bags of debris, is $69 + $37 + $37 + $132 = $275.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum charge for junk removal in Riverside?

$100. A single item priced under $100, such as a $68 TV, is billed at $100. Pairing it with a second item, such as a TV and its stand at $68 + $96 = $164, gets more out of the visit.

How much is a full truckload in Riverside?

$732 for a full truck of about 16 cubic yards. A half truck is $431 and a quarter truck $241. Bigger jobs add tiers together.

Is there a stairs fee or same-day fee?

No. There is no stairs fee, no walk-up fee and no same-day surcharge. The price is the same on a weekday morning or a Saturday night.

Do you charge sales tax on junk removal in Riverside?

No sales tax is added to the service in this market. The price you see is the price you pay. It only changes if you approve a change.

Are the prices the same in Corona, Moreno Valley and Fontana?

Yes. The same published flat prices apply across the Inland Empire service area. That covers both Riverside and San Bernardino county cities, including Temecula and Rancho Cucamonga.
